Dr. Vajjala is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with additional qualifications in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy, and is one of approximately 750 board-certified headache specialists in the United States. Dr. Vajjala is also a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Epilepsy Society, and American Headache Society. Her special interests are migraines and epilepsy in women, posttraumatic headaches, cluster headaches, and autoimmune epilepsy.
Dr. Vajjala has vast experience performing nerve block injections, botulinum toxin injections, and trigger point injections for the treatment of headaches, as well as botulinum toxin injections for other neurological indications such as cervical dystonia, blepharospasms, and spasticity.
Dr. Vajjala is available to evaluate individuals interested in exploring transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy as an alternative therapeutic option for chronic headaches and migraine headaches, chronic neuropathic pain, traumatic head and brain injury, and post-stroke rehabilitation.
